the location is okay, but the reception staff was just horrendous. Seriously, one would expect a greeting instead of a cold stare. And to top it off, I absolutely expected a complimentary drink for all the inconveniences but clearly, this hotel lacks true hospitality. almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

The stay here was primarily to visit El Retiro Park, which is a lovely green space not far from the hotel. The room was clean and had a decent-sized bathroom, which I appreciated. The transportation options from the hotel are quite convenient, making it easier to explore nearby attractions like the Prado National Museum and the National Archaeological Museum. However, the ventilation in my particular corner room was quite limited, making it feel a bit stuffy.

It was just a prime choice for a brief pit stop in Madrid with good price-value balance. The front desk staff member helped me with a special request without any issues, which made my arrival smoother. Just be aware of the tiny elevators when bringing up your luggage.

cozy ambiance, strong air conditioning system, diverse dining options nearby
Room sizes could really use some expansion!!! Such minor elevator access issues make lugging bags a real chore!!! Poor handling of guest complaints needs addressing!!!

The location couldn't be better for our family! We loved strolling to the nearby Prado Museum and enjoyed breakfast every morning with plenty of options. With five kids, the spacious room and excellent air conditioning made our stay super comfortable.
My kids wished there were more family activities on-site.

would definitely come back here
Great place with a cozy atmosphere! The double room had air conditioning, a nice balcony, and a flat-screen TV. Super clean private bathroom with body soap and shampoo. We enjoyed the minibar and the electric kettle for tea. Nice view from the window too. Breakfast was tasty and reasonable at just 10€.

I enjoyed my stay in a Double Room for three nights in the Salamanca/Recoletos area. The hotel had this cozy vibe that I loved right away. The reception was on the fifth floor, and the small fridge in my room was a nice touch for keeping drinks cool. Getting around was a breeze with the nearby metro and cercanias stations, making it easy to reach downtown and attractions like the Prado. The elevators were in different locations, which was helpful when carrying bags. The room itself was clean and well-decorated, though a bit snug for my liking. There was some refurbishment going on, but it didn’t disrupt my stay much. A downside was the little interaction I had with the reception staff during check-in. a warmer welcome would have made a difference. Also, arranging breakfast could have been more straightforward. I think clarity on policies would help future guests avoid confusion. Overall, it had a lot of good points, but the service experience could improve.
